أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ وَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ

وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الرُّؤْيَا فِي حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللهِ وَالْحُلُمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمُ الشَّيْءَ يَكْرَهُهُ فَلْيَنْفِثْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ مِنْ شَرَّهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَنْ تَضُرَّهُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ»

✧ And he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "In the hadith of al-Harith: The righteous dream is from Allah and the bad dream is from Satan. So if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit to his left three times when he wakes and seek refuge from its evil, for it will not harm him, if Allah wills."
