✧ The light of the eye

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ سَابَقًا الْقَدْرَ سَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ فَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فَاغْسِلُوا»

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “The evil eye is real. If anything could outrun destiny, the evil eye would. When you are asked to wash, then wash.”
