أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ فِي وَفْدِ ثَقِيفٍ رَجُلٌ مَجْذُومٌ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنِ ارْجِعْ فَقَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ»

Translation

  4. ʿAmr b. al-Sharīd from his father

✧ In the delegation of Thaqif there was a leper. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to him: "Return, for we have accepted your pledge."
