أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

لَدَدْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ قَالَ «لَا تَلُدُّونِي» قُلْنَا كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَرِيضِ لِلدَّوَاءِ فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ «لَا يَبْقَى أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا لُدُّ غَيْرَ الْعَبَّاسِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْهَدْكُمْ»

✧ We gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ an oral medicine during his illness. He said: "Do not give me an oral medicine." We said, "That is the patient's dislike of medicine." When he regained consciousness, he said: "None of you will remain except that he is given an oral medicine, except al-Abbas, for he did not witness you."
