A Woman Doing Ruqyah on a Man

أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

قَالَتِ اشْتَكَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَيَنْفُثُ فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ شَكْوُهُ جَعَلْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْفُثُ وَأَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِ بِيَدَيْهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَتِهَا

✧ She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, and he used to recite over himself the mu‘awwidhat (the last three surahs of the Qur’an) and blow. When his pain intensified, I began to recite over him and blow, and wipe over him with his own hands, hoping for their blessing.
