أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ وَثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ رُبْعُ دِينَارٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The hand of a thief is cut off for the value of a shield, and the value of a shield is a quarter of a dinar.”
