أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ

«أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ اسْتَعَارَتْ حُلِيًّا عَلَى لِسَانِ أُنَاسٍ فَجَحَدَتْهَا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقُطِعَتْ» 7339 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ حَدَّثَهُ نَحْوَهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib

✧ A woman from Banu Makhzum borrowed jewelry in the names of some people, then denied it. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that she be brought, and her hand was cut off." 7339 Muhammad b. al-Muthanna informed us, he said: Abd al-Samad narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, he said: Qatadah narrated to us, from Dawud b. Abi Asim, that Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated to him something similar.
