✧ The raising of hands when raising from the first prostration.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to, when he entered prayer and when he bowed, do the same, and when he raised his head from bowing do the same, and when he raised his head from prostration do the same—as if he meant he raised his hands.
