al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7224

✧ The limitation of a man's stay to his wife when she commits adultery.

أَخْبَرَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ صَاحِبُ الشَّافِعِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهَا

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا زَنَتِ الْأَمَةُ فَاجْلِدُوهَا وَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا وَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ بِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ» وَالضَّفِيرُ الْحَبْلُ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "When a slave woman commits adultery, flog her; and if she commits adultery again, flog her; and if she commits adultery again, flog her; then sell her, even for a rope." And a ḍafīr is a rope.
