al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 7186

✧ The punishment for one who comes to a forbidden zone, and mentioning the disagreement of the narrators about the news of Bara'ah b. 'Azib in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُنَازِلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «بَعَثَ أَبَاهُ جَدَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ عَرَّسَ بِامْرَأَةِ أَبِيهِ فَضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ وَخَمَّسَ مَالَهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent his father, the grandfather of Mu'awiya, to a man who had set up camp with his father's wife, and he struck his neck and divided his wealth into fifths.
