أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ أَنَّ امْرَأً اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْكَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ فَخَذَفْتَهُ فَفَقَأْتَ عَيْنَهُ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٌ» وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى «جُنَاحٌ»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  4. al-Aʿraj
  5. Abū Hurayrah

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “If a man were to look in on you without permission and you threw a pebble at him and gouged out his eye, there would be no sin upon you.” Another time he said: “No blame.”
