أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

«أَنَّ غُلَامًا لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ قَطَعَ أُذُنَ غُلَامٍ لِأُنَاسٍ أَغْنِيَاءَ فَأَتَوَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm
  2. Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father
  3. Qatādah
  4. Abū Naḍrah
  5. ʿImrān b. Ḥuṣayn

✧ "A slave boy belonging to poor people cut off the ear of a slave boy belonging to rich people, so they came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he did not decree anything for them."
