✧ The Saying After Being Satisfied

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَنْعُمَ الْجُبْلَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ جَشِيبٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا شَبِعَ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ قَالَ «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ»

Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ was full from food, he would say, "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise, not sufficient, nor ever dispensable."
