أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا شَرِبَ تَنَفَّسَ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا وَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَتَنَفَّسُ ثَلَاثًا» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَتَادَةَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ خَطَأٌ وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ عَزْرَةَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ, when he drank, would breathe twice or three times, and Anas used to breathe three times. Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said to us: Qatada is mistaken in this hadith, and the correct one is the hadith of ‘Azra, and God knows best.
