✧ Washing the vessel from the impurities of the dog seven times

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولَاهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ» خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ

Translation

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: “When a dog laps in the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first of them with dust.” Hisham disagreed with him.
