أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْأَوْعِيَةِ؟ قَالَتْ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ»

✧ I asked Aisha, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid regarding vessels?" She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (the use of) the dubba and the muzaffat."
