أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ابْنَةِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَمٍّ لَهَا يُقَالُ لَهُ أَنَسٌ قَالَ

قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَلَمْ يَقُلِ اللهُ {وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوَا} [الحشر 7]؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ أَلَمْ يَقُلِ اللهُ {وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ} [الأحزاب 36] قَالَ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ «فَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ نَهَى عَنِ النَّقِيرِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ»

✧ Ibn 'Abbas said, "Did Allah not say: {And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it} [al-Hashr 7]?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Did Allah not say: {It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have any choice in their affair} [al-Ahzab 36]?" He said, I said, "Yes." He said, "Then I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has forbidden naqir, muqayyar, gourd, and hantam."
