✧ O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, our family soaks a drink for us at night, and when we wake in the morning we drink it. He said, "I forbid you from the intoxicant, a little of it and a lot of it, and I call Allah to witness over you: I forbid you from the intoxicant, a little of it and a lot of it, and I call Allah to witness over you: I forbid you from the intoxicant, a little of it and a lot of it, and I call Allah to witness over you. The people of Khaybar soak a drink from such-and-such, and they call it such-and-such, but it is wine. And the people of Fadak soak a drink from such-and-such, and they call it such-and-such, but it is wine—until he counted four drinks, one of them being honey."
