✧ Placing the hand on its foundation, mentioning the disagreement of Isa b. Yunus, and the remaining of Banu Walid on Safwan in the narration of Abdallah b. Busr in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبِي لِأُمِّي لَوْ صَنَعْتِ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ طَعَامًا فَصَنَعَتْ ثَرِيدَةً وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ يُقْلِلْ فَانْطَلَقَ أَبِي فَدَعَاهُ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى ذُرْوَتِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «خُذُوا بِسْمِ اللهِ» فَأَخَذُوا مِنْ نَحْوَهَا فَلَمَّا طَعِمُوا دَعَا لَهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَارْحَمْهُمْ وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فَارْزُقْهُمْ» خَالَفَهُ بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ

✧ My father said to my mother: "If you make some food for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ..." So she made a tharidah. He made a gesture with his hand indicating that it should be small. My father went and invited him. He placed his hand on its top, then said: "Take, in the name of Allah." So they took from its sides. When they had eaten, he prayed for them. The Prophet ﷺ said: "O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, bless them, and provide for them." Baqiyyah b. al-Walid contradicted him.
