أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ وَجَدَ تَمْرًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُوَرٌ»

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Whoever finds dates, let him break his fast with them. And whoever does not find them, let him break his fast with water, for it is purifying.”
