أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَرَأَيْتُ عِنْدَهُ دُبَّاءً تُقْطَعُ قُلْتُ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ «نُكَثِّرُ بِهِ طَعَامَنَا»
Translation

✧ I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and saw some gourd being cut. I said: "What is this?" He said: "We increase our food with it."
