✧ Prohibition of horse meat copying

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ وَأَذِنَ فِي الْخَيْلِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا وَافَقَ حَمَّادَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ “forbade the meat of donkeys on the day of Khaybar and permitted horses.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I do not know that anyone agreed with Hammad b. Zayd regarding Muhammad b. Ali.
