✧ He prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night and heard him say when he said the takbir: “Allah is the Greatest, Possessor of might, dominion, pride, and greatness.” In his bowing he would say, “Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent.” When he raised his head from bowing he said, “To my Lord belongs praise.” In his prostration he said, “Glory be to my Lord, the Most High,” and between the two prostrations he said, “My Lord, forgive me; my Lord, forgive me.” His standing, his bowing, his rising from bowing, his prostration, and the period between the two prostrations were nearly equal in length.
