✧ Prohibition of reading during the rukoo'

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ السَّرَخْسِيُّ أَبُو قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

«نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ» وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى «وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from qassi cloth, silk, a gold ring, and from reciting while bowing.' And on another occasion he said: 'And from reciting while in ruku'.'
