✧ The inheritance of the only daughter alone.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي تَصَدَّقْتُ عَلَى أُمِّي بِجَارِيَةٍ وَإِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «آجَرَكِ اللهُ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْكِ الْمِيرَاثَ»

✧ a woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I gave charity to my mother with a slave girl, and she has died.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May Allah reward you and return the inheritance to you.'
