عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنِ الْفِرْيَابِيِّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ

عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ فِي رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى صَخْرًا فَابْتَنَي فِيهَا ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ الشَّفِيعُ قَالَ «يَأْخُذُ بِالْقِيمَةِ» يَعْنِي قِيمَةَ الْبِنَاءِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ From al-Shaʿbī regarding a man who bought a rock and built on it, then the preemptor came. He said: «He takes it by its value,» meaning the value of the building.
