أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ تِبْرُهُ وَعَيْنُهُ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ تِبْرُهُ وَعَيْنُهُ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ كَيْلًا بِكَيْلٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوِ ازْدَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى وَلَا بَأْسَ بِبَيْعِ الشَّعِيرِ بِالْبُرِّ وَالشَّعِيرُ أَكْثَرُهُمَا يَدًا بِيَدٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Gold for gold, its raw and its minted, weight for weight; silver for silver, its raw and its minted, weight for weight; salt for salt, dates for dates, wheat for wheat, and barley for barley, measure for measure. Whoever adds or asks for addition has committed ribā. There is no harm in selling barley for wheat when barley is the larger of the two, hand to hand."
