al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 6017

✧ The necessity of agreement for the sellers before their separation, and mentioning the disagreement on a beneficial word in his statement about it.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَمْلَى عَلَيَّ نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا تَبَايَعَ الْمُبْتَاعَانِ فَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بِالْخِيَارِ مِنْ بَيْعِهِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا أَوْ يَكُونَ بَيْعُهُمَا عَنْ خِيَارٍ فَإِنْ كَانَ عَنْ خِيَارِ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْبَيْعُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "When two parties engage in a transaction, each of them has the option from his sale as long as they have not separated, or their sale was made with an option; if it was with an option, then the sale becomes binding."
