أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْزِعُ الْعِلْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهُمْ إِيَّاهُ وَلَكِنْ يَذْهَبُ بِالْعُلَمَاءِ كُلَّمَا ذَهَبَ بِعَالِمٍ ذَهَبَ بِمَا مَعَهُ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ حَتَّى يَبْقَى مَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ فَيَضِلُّوا وَيُضِلُّوا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah does not withdraw knowledge from people after giving it to them, but He takes away the scholars. Every time He takes away a scholar, He takes away the knowledge he had, until only those who do not know remain, and they will go astray and lead others astray."
