أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِنَّا لَا نَقْدِرُ عَلَى مَجْلِسِكَ مَعَ الرِّجَالِ فَوَاعِدْنَا يَوْمًا نَأْتِيكَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ مَوْعِدُكُنَّ بَيْتُ فُلَانَةَ فَأَتَاهُنَّ فَكَانَ فِيمَا حَدَّثَهُنَّ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ يَمُوتُ لَهَا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَحْتَسِبُ إِلَّا دَخَلَتِ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ أَوِ اثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ «أَوِ اثْنَانِ»

Translation

✧ A woman said, “We cannot reach your gathering with the men, so appoint for us a day on which we may come to you.” He said, “Your appointment is at the house of so-and-so.” He came to them, and among what he told them was: “Any woman who has three children die and she seeks reward for them will enter Paradise.” A woman said, “Or two?” He said, “Or two.”
