أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي قَالَ

بَيْنَا أَنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَحَلْقَةٌ مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ قُعُودًا إِذْ قَعَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ «لِيُبْشِرْ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ بِمَا يَسُرُّ وُجُوهَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِأَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَلْوَانَهُمْ أَسْفَرَتْ حَتَّى تَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ»

✧ While I was in the mosque with a circle of poor Emigrants sitting down, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and sat with them. I got up and went to them, and he said: "Let the poor Emigrants rejoice at what will brighten their faces, for they will enter Paradise forty years before the rich." I saw their faces light up until I wished I were one of them.
