✧ The Variations in the Narrations of Abu Hurairah's Story about the Man with Two Hands

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ جَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ سَلِمَ» ذَكَرَهُ فِي حَدِيثِ ذِي الْيَدَيْنِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness while sitting, then said the salam. He mentioned this in the hadith of Dhu al-Yadayn.
