أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِأُمَّتِي مَا وَسْوَسَتْ بِهِ وَحَدَّثَتْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهَا مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ أَوْ تَتَكَلَّمْ بِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah has pardoned my community for what they whisper to themselves and what their souls suggest, as long as they do not act or speak upon it.
