أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ قَالَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ «إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ حَرَّمَ الْمُتْعَةَ فَلَا تَقْرَبُوهَا» يُرِيدُ مُتْعَةَ النِّسَاءِ «وَمَنْ كَانَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِنْهَا فَلْيَدَعْهَا»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say during the Farewell Pilgrimage: Indeed, Allah has forbidden mut'ah, so do not approach it, meaning mut'ah of women. And whoever has any part of it, let him leave it.
