✧ The eternal water

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ» 56 وَقَالَ خِلَاسٌ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm
  2. ʿĪsá b. Yūnus
  3. ʿAwf
  4. Muḥammad
  5. Abū Hurayrah

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "None of you should urinate in stagnant water and then perform ablution from it." 56 And Khilas said on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, the like of it.
