أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَدَّ الْحَدِيثَ حَتَّى رَدَّهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ
ذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَمَا ذَاكُمْ» قُلْنَا الرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ تُرْضِعُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا فَيُصِيبُهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ وَتَكُونُ لَهُ الْجَارِيَةُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ قَالَ «لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوا فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ»

✧ That was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "What is that?" We said: A man has a breastfeeding wife and he has intercourse with her, and he dislikes that she becomes pregnant from him; and he has a slave girl and he has intercourse with her, and he dislikes that she becomes pregnant from him. He said: "It is not upon you not to do so, for it is only destiny."
