✧ Prohibition of breastfeeding a sister's child

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ الْقَاضِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ هَذَا سَمِعَهُ قَتَادَةُ مِنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ

✧ The daughter of Hamzah was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding." Shu'bah said: Qatadah heard this from Jabir b. Zayd.
