✧ The permissible and impermissible drinking of paint.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أخبرنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الطُّفَيْلِ الْجَزَرِيِّ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ

أَنْ «لَا تَشْرَبُوا مِنَ الطِّلَاءِ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ ثُلُثَاهُ وَيَبْقَى ثُلُثُهُ وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ»

✧ Do not drink of the tila' until two-thirds of it have gone and one-third remains, and every intoxicant is unlawful.
