أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ فَانْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَخَالَفَهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade gourds, green jars, wooden vessels, and pitch-coated vessels. Then he said: "I had forbidden you from vessels, so make nabidh in whatever you wish, but avoid every intoxicant." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Abu Awanah disagreed with him.
