أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْجُوَيْرِيَةِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَسُئِلَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَفْتِنَا فِي الْبَاذَقِ فَقَالَ

سَبَقَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ الْبَاذَقَ «وَمَا أَسْكَرَ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ»

✧ Muhammad ﷺ preceded [the prohibition of] al-badhaq: “Whatever intoxicates is forbidden.”
