أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الصَّدِيقِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ فِي أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ قَالَ

«كُنَّا نَبِيعُهُنَّ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ زَيْدٌ الْعَمِّيُّ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ

Translation

✧ “We used to sell them in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ.” Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said: Zayd al-ʿAmmī is not strong.
