أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ {وَآتُوهُمْ مِنْ مَالِ اللهِ الَّذِي آتَاكُمْ} [النور 33] قَالَ «رُبْعَ الْكِتَابَةِ» قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَا يَذْكُرُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ regarding {And give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you} [al-Nūr 33]: He said: "A quarter of the kitāba." Ibn Jurayj said: More than one person informed me from ʿAṭāʾ that he used to narrate this hadith without mentioning the Prophet ﷺ.
