أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ كُوتِبَ عَلَى مِائَةِ وُقِيَّةٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشْرَ أَوَاقٍ ثُمَّ عَجَزَ فَهُوَ رَقِيقٌ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any slave who is given a kitabah for one hundred uqiyyahs and pays all but ten uqiyyahs, then is unable to pay, he remains a slave."
