أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِقْصًا مِنْ عَبْدٍ فَخَلَاصُهُ مِنْ مَالِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ اسْتَسْعَى الْعَبْدُ غَيْرَ مَشْقُوقٍ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever frees a portion of a slave, his full liberation is from his wealth if he has wealth; if he does not have wealth, the slave is made to work for it, without being overburdened."
