أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ

قَالَ عُمَرُ «مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا مَحْرَمٍ أَوْ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ» 4891 أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْوَلِيدِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُمَرَ مِثْلَهُ

Translation

✧ ‘Umar said: “Whoever owns a mahram relative or an unmarriageable kin relative, he is free.” 4891 ‘Amr b. ‘Ali reported to us, he said: I heard Abu al-Walid say: I saw in the book of Abu ‘Awanah: al-Hakam narrated to us from Ibrahim from al-Aswad from ‘Umar the like of it.
