أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْخَبَائِرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَ شُرَحْبِيلِ بْنِ السِّمْطِ وَهُوَ أَمِيرٌ عَلَى حِمْصٍ فَقَالَ يَا عَمْرُو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ

حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا لَيْسَ فِيهِ نَقْصٌ وَلَا نِسْيَانٌ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ بِيَدِهِ «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً مَسْلَمَةً إِلَّا فَدَتْ كُلَّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ»

✧ Narrate to us from the Prophet of Allah ﷺ a hadith that has no deficiency and no forgetfulness. He said: By the One in whose hand is the soul of 'Amr b. 'Abasah, "No man frees a Muslim slave except that every limb of it ransoms a limb of him from the Fire. I indeed heard it more than once."
