✧ Who dies with a vow?

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عِبَادَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذْرٌ لَمْ تَقْضِهِ قَالَ «اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا»

✧ Sa'd b. 'Ubadah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: My mother died and she had a vow that she did not fulfill. He said: "Fulfill it on her behalf."
