أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادَ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَأْتِي النَّذْرُ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُقَدَّرْ عَلَيْهِ وَلَكِنَّهُ شَيْءٌ اسْتُخْرِجَ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A vow does not bring to the son of Adam anything that has not been decreed for him, but it is something by which something is extracted from the miser.”
