أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا §لَا نَرَى بِالْخَبَرِ بَأْسًا حَتَّى كَانَ عَامَ أَوَّلَ فَزَعَمَ رَافِعٌ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْهَا» خَالَفَهُ عَارِمٌ فَقَالَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ جَابِرٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaḥyá b. Ḥabīb b. ʿArabī
  2. Ḥammād b. Zayd
  3. ʿAmr
  4. Ibn ʿUmar

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade it. Arim disagreed, saying: From Hammad, from Amr, from Jabir.
