أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ بْنُ مُهَلْهِلٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ ظُهَيْرٍ قَالَ جَاءَنَا رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ فَقَالَ

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَاكُمْ عَنِ الْحَقْلِ وَالْحَقْلُ الثُّلُثُ وَالرُّبُعُ وَعَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ» وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ شِرَاءُ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا وَسْقًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ

✧ Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ "forbade you from haql, and haql is renting for one-third and one-fourth, and from muzabanah." And muzabanah is buying what is on the tops of palm trees for such-and-such wasq of dates.
